Inspired by my Christmas meal starter which was served in a cocktail bowl, I thought it would be a cool idea to try to make a similar shape in one of my projects.

Using a piece of spalted beech I have turned a cocktail bowl on my Record Power Coronet Herald lathe.

After sanding as a finish I used Cut and Polish and finally Woodwax 22 from Chestnut.
