At Wood Turning Club this week I made some pens, using an exotic wood Mopane. The 'Ares' kits for these pens were given to me to try out.
The Rose Gold pen I gave a chunky feel to, giving the Silver pen a slimmer feel.
The mopane wood seemed to be easy to work with and gave me the chance to do some skew work on both pens.
I finished the pens with Wood Wax 22.
