This is the first piece of wood I have turned from my Grandpa's tree, it was turned wet and a certainly felt it as I was turning it.
I coloured it with blue, green and purple spirit stain and used a piece of resin for the lid.
I have left the walls of the pot quite thick for now and left the chucking point on in case it warps as it dries out. At the time of the video the piece weighs 1069 grams and I will keep track of it as it dries out.
It is for the same reason why I have not put a final finish on it for now.
