My husband has crafted me a nice Taper tool for tapering arrows.
Yesterday I have used it to create my first set of wooden tapered arrows.
I have reduced the diameter from 5/16 to 9/32.

The weight varies from 327gn to 411gn, which is normal for wooden arrows.

For the fletching I have used Peacock and Pheasant feathers (cutting template ‚Hornet‘).
I kept the design simple, since thus is a test and working set.

The points are 60gn and 100gn (pending on the arrow performance).

The flight is sometimes more, sometimes less straight, but a better form lets the arrows hit the target nevertheless 😄
