The SiCai Take Down by AF Archery (35 lbs/ 28”)
Some time back I have watched a review by Armin about the SiCai and I thought that this is a very beautiful bow!
Mid of March this year I have asked Ronald from Bamboo Archery, if he would be able to order a TD version of the SiCai with Golden Sandalwood - and he could! 😁👍
The first version was delivered to Ronald end of April 2023… sadly the bow was too weak and we have asked for a replacement.
I have unboxed the new bow 20th August 2023 and shot the SiCai the first time during this video ☺️
Every siyah is 9” long (including the fade out), the bending length is 26,5“ and feels smooth.
The Ming style design is defined by beautiful reflex-deflex-reflex curves and pronounced siyahs.
The draw feels very smooth, the sound at release is a little high pitched, the shooting is precise with spine 500 arrows or wooden arrows matching the strength.
I love the rounded handle, matching my hand very well and the Golden Sandalwood verneer!
The bow also includes a stable core (carbon layer).
