The mass timber project for Atlanta’s hot Ponce City Market is moving forward. The wood for the project was recently shipped from a forest south of Columbus, Georgia, to GP’s building products mill in Albany. That’s where the lumber is cut before it’s shipped to be manufactured into cross-laminated timber panels.
