Today I am working on yet another of my fun character paintings using #acrylicink on #watercolorpaper. These characters are very intuitive and #abstract – they almost create themselves. They came out of a class I took with Deb Weiers. karabullockart.com/product/wonkyfriendsandcritters
This time, a whole group emerged, so maybe it’s a family portrait or group of funky friends.
If you came here to see some mixed media projects, stay tuned because I have a couple in the works. I’ve been filming in the studio on the days when it’s not so cold. I do these character paintings in the evening in the living room in front of the TV, where it’s cozy and warm! I’m not a big fan of winter!
