Welcome to the Witchual Workout with Laura Tempest Zakroff - a ritually-inspired movement experience designed to get us moving a bit more on a daily basis. Each day, we'll have a different magical focus and build up our stamina and body exploration.
The moon is waxing and almost full, perfect time to add a new skill! And as it's Samhain season here in the Northern Hemisphere and Beltane season down south, this time of year is said to be a time when the veils between the worlds are thinning or lifted. (I'll cover this more technically in an upcoming 6 Minutes of Witchcraft video, but here we're just using the idea for inspiration). In this video I cover some basics to get you started and we'll dive deeper in upcoming episodes.
Listen to your body, follow along and adjust as needed to suit your abilities.
My tablet ran out of room at the end, so I was just saying to play with the veil to start to get used to it, be mindful of how your holding it and how it's moving. Don't overthink it, look at it as a partner, an extension of yourself - and have fun!
