Welcome to the Witchual Workout with Laura Tempest Zakroff - a ritually-inspired movement experience designed to get us moving a bit more on a daily basis. Each day, we'll have a different magical focus and build up our stamina and body exploration.
Today we look to the divine for inspiration and work with the Goddess Brigid - who has many names and titles. She oversees fertility, animal husbandry, metalsmithing, fiber arts, poetry/bardic arts, and much more. She is typically honored at this time of year via Imbolc or Candlemas, and today we make a trip to one of her many wells for our movement inspiration.
Follow along and adjust as needed, listening to your body's needs.
The artwork on the thumbnail is one of my paintings, which is available as prints, cards, and candle-wraps: https://owlkeyme.square.site/s/search?q=brigid
The book I recommended is "Brigid: History, Mystery and Magick of the Celtic Goddess" by Courtney Weber (from Red Wheel/Weiser).
Music:
First Song: "The Blessing and Descent of the Goddess Brigid" by The Moors
Second Song: "Brigit's Feast" by Aine Minogue from The Mysts of Time
