RobSmithDev | Wireless Quiz Buzzer System using Arduino, nRF24L01 and TP4056 lithium battery charger @RobSmithDev | Uploaded June 2022 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Part 2: I show you how to make a wireless quiz buzzer system using nRF24L01 modules and Arduino's.
The buzzers are totally self-contained including a built in lithium battery with charger.
Part 1 was a wired version, which you can see here: youtube.com/watch?v=YkyAJxAy2G4
The main controller, also wireless, now has the option to disable buttons from people who have already guessed an answer and has a 3.5" socket to connect the audio output to an external amp.
I've also left the USB port exposed for future use in case I want to build an application that can use the button data in real time as well as control them

I put this to the test last night with a special Jubilee quiz! worked perfectly...

Tip: If you have any issues with the DFPlayerMini not working then try powering it from the 3.3v connection. Also if you have issues with the buttons connecting to the controller, power everything off, then power up the controller first for a few seconds.
