West Highland Way during this winter turned out to be more extreme than we had anticipated. It was still however a great hiking and camping experience even with the wild amounts of rain and snow.

The West Highland Way runs for 96 miles from Milngavie to Fort William, travelling through some of the most stunning landscapes in Scotland. It passes alongside lochs and rivers, travels through forest and moorlands, explores countless historical sites, and encompasses mountains of all scales, including Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK.
