How many people sign up for a Spartan race knowing they won’t win?
Ninety-seven percent show up with no chance at a podium. They race anyway. They suffer anyway. They leave stronger than they arrived.
But when a kid loses an overtime match or drops a close race, it’s treated like disaster. Same effort. Same struggle. Different standard.
Here’s the lesson:
• Winning isn’t required for growth.
• Hard effort counts without a medal.

If adults accept this for themselves,
