This challenging Windmill drill includes a one second pause and a kickboard being used between the legs.

This drill specifically focuses on balance and requires swimmers to be reactionary with their balance while doing the drill.

The one second pause helps alert the swimmer to how their body wants to move when thrown off balance, and requires the swimmer to fix this in order to continue going with the drill.

Coach Dominic’s narration and to-the-point scientific approach allows swimmers to learn safely and efficiently about different strokes that will better their swimming technique. Drills such as this one are fantastic for more efficient swimming.
