In today’s episode, I’m in Costa Mesa, California, at Deli Nerds, a fast-casual favorite known for blending fresh, high-quality ingredients with creative deli-style food. They’re best known for their flavorful grass-fed sliders, hearty salads, wraps, bowls, and scratch-made sauces, serving tasty options from breakfast through dinner. With takeout, delivery, and catering available, it’s a great spot for everything from a quick bite to group meals. Whether you’re stopping in for a slider or taking on one of their food challenge, Deli Nerds brings great flavors and a fun vibe to the Costa Mesa food scene.

The 12-Sliders and Pretzels Challenge features 12 sliders of your choice, (served on a sword) you can pick any combination from the menu. Along with the sliders, you also have to finish 12 hot garlic pretzel bites served with a side of mustard. You have 12 minutes to complete the challenge and earn your $105 meal free plus a photo on the Wall of Fame. But if you can finish everything in under 8 minutes, you win the sword the sliders are served on, along with the free meal and Wall of Fame photo.
