It only took me a year, but I've finally proven that Wood is better than Metal.
Mega Man: The Wily Wars (aka Rockman Megaworld) was released for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive in 1993

Run Skill Level: Expert
I imagine there is still about 5-8 seconds that can be shaved off using the current strats. I made a few mistakes here and there (not having enough health to tank the end of Hyper Storm H. is probably the biggest one along). It's faster to use Magnet Beam than to use Jet in Buster Rod's level but it's also much more exponentially difficult.
5xBRZ is a graphics filter that smooths out the game and removes any instance of "Stepladder" effects.
