We thought this junkyard big block was ready to drop into Paige's '64, but the Chevelle had other plans! In Part 2, we find out exactly what this iron lump weighs, attempt the first install, and run into a major clearance nightmare.
When the oil pan hits the crossmember, you have two choices: spend money on the right parts, or grab a hammer. With help from Brad (BradFab Garage), we decide to "massage" the oil pan the old-fashioned way. Does it work? Well... sort of.
