With feeling a little unwell I decide on Ling fell for a wildcamp, Paul and I take the slightly steeper direct route up, but it was still.a short easy walk to the summit of this lovely little wainwright. We sat out for ages having a good catch up and a few beers with our food. Views of Sale fell, the sea and the west coast were lovely, and the camp felt very cosy. Strong winds came in overnight, but the 2 Scarp 1's stood like rocks, we were up early, and it only took us 15 minutes to descend in the morning.
