Our kids decided that they wanted to be the Wild Kratts for Halloween, so we decided that a morning trip to the Austin Aquarium was the thing to do. Abe was Christ Kratt. Hannah is Martin Kratt. And Clare is Aviva Corcovado. The baby is supposed to be their pilot, Jimmy, and I’m supposed to be Zack, one of the show’s main villains. However, I am filming, so I am not in this video haha.
Wild Kratts is a really weird show for me, because its a little on the dorky side.....but so are we so that’s okay. The Kratt brothers have a long and storied career in teaching kids about animals, going back to the 90s, and the more I learn about them, the more I sort of think they’re completely badass. The show’s not my thing, but it’s meant for kids, and my kids really love it. So there.
