Solo wild camping trip into the Cairngorms national park where I witnessed on of the most amazing sunrises I have ever had.
The route climbs through the beautiful native pinewoods of 'Glen Feshie' and then across the bare windswept upper slopes that makes for some amazing hiking.
However the highlight of this mountain is the peaked summit on the very edge of huge broken cliffs which plunge down to 'Loch Einich' far below, making surely one of the grandest perches in the eastern Highlands.
Whilst wild camping during the night the wind picked up significantly giving me a rude awakening around midnight, other than some flapping of the flysheet the tent performed admirably.
