The Germans sent 10,492 V-1 to target London during WWII. Of these 1,846 were destroyed by fighters in aerial engagements. The RAF Hawker Tempest was credited with destroying more V-1s than any other fighter. Their kill score was around 3 times the kill score of the Spitfire. The intent of this video is to review vulnerabilities of the V-1, the most effective tactics and armaments in Fighter aerial attacks, and why the Hawker tempest destroyed more V-1s, than any other fighter.
