In this week with the Comic Lads, we're diving into the current state of Spider-Man comics, and how MARVEL has officially ruined the character to the point of no return. But not just Spider-Man himself, it seems as though their corrosive touch has extended to Spider-Man's BEST villains too, notably, the Green Goblin.
With Joe Kelly's new jumping on point for Spider-Man fans, we all hoped that the relaunch of our favourite web head was going in the right direction. Almost a year later, Mary Jane is Venom, Peter Parker is in space fighting (and getting intimate) with aliens, AND Norman Osborn is Spider-Man. Taking arguably Spider-Man's greatest villain, and turning him into a hero in the Marvel universe is an interesting choice, and we want to tackle why the idea is stupid.
Today, we're sorting through the mess, and challenging the idea that Norman Osborn can even be redeemed. We're making a list of reasons why Norman shouldn't be Spider-Man, as well as discussing the absolute WORST things Green Goblin has ever done.
