I have only ever had two watch straps fail on any of my Garmin watches, including multiple Forerunners and multiple Fenix and Epix watches.

Both failed straps were Garmin branded straps for a Forerunner watch.

I have been using aftermarket straps for two years with my Fenix 7X, I will not rely on Garmin branded $50 watch straps ever again
