Today's electric vehicles benefit greatly from proper tire design. Making tires that are quiet, have low rolling resistance, long tread life and superior performance, are a challenge for the engineers who design them.

Russell Shepherd, Technical Communications Director at Michelin North America Inc. joins us on this episode. Russell is a mechanical engineer with over 20 years in the tire industry. Among other accomplishments, he has received 3 patents while developing some Michelin’s most innovative tires.
