Technically, this isn't part of the YPIV week I'm working on, but a few people did request my modern OCs in my Empire video. I figured I'd group them all together in a bonus video...Turns out this is my favourite video from this week - and it was never even supposed to exist!!

Ellie & Ryan [Danielle Campbell & Brenton Thwaites] for laurenmcquilty
When Finn leaves her and their world behind, Ryan seizes the chance to worm his way into Ellie's life and learn about the rival faction. What was meant to be a little bit of fun on Ryan's side gets rather more intense than he planned, and soon his coven leaders are stepping in and giving him a new target - Ellie. Only, she's beginning to catch on to his deception...

Ford & Lucy [Dylan O'Brien & Olivia Cooke] for MacduffProd & SecretDreams
Ford is Lucy's best friend, and if Lucy's coven of assassins had partners, and Lucy's health had allowed it, Ford would've been Lucy's. As things are, Ford is, aside from Ryan, the most important person in Lucy's life, and vice versa. Only, their coven doesn't believe in strong emotional attachments, they are a weakness and could get you killed and Ford has to try to reconcile his own feelings with what he (and Lucy) have been taught to believe their whole lives.

Finn & Ellie [Max Thieriot & Danielle Campbell] for iwanndream
They've been paired since they were children and have become the most successful assassins of their generation. But, even as their partnership began to develop into something more, Finn was growing increasingly disillusioned with their world - ultimately resulting in him leaving it all, including Ellie, behind. One year later and he's back, and Ellie's left reeling.

Cadan & Max [Ben Barnes & Eiza González]
Max is Cadan’s new partner; she fell for her first partner, but he turned on her and almost killed her. Since then she’s had major trust issues. Her relationship with Cadan is complex. There’s a mutual attraction, and she cares for him, but she’s been burnt in the past and refuses to risk putting herself out there again. Cadan’s had ‘purely physical’ relationships with most of his partners and is horrified to realise that he’s actually catching feelings and wants to keep her around.

Matt & Bernie [Charles Michael Davis & Margot Robbie]
They had been a pair since they were five years old - younger than most, but they'd ~known~. And they were right; they were one of the most successful partnerships their coven had ever known. Eventually, however, Bernie began to want a different kind of life. She wanted out, and Matt wasso in love with her he would’ve done absolutely anything to make her happy. So, with the reluctant blessing of the Elders, they left.


Angsty magical assassins be angsty.

Honestly, this is probably the most proud I have been of a video in years. So...yeah, there's that.
