Hello,
One thing you should know about me; 'Uptown Girl (or boy)' is my favourite trope. If I'm watching a period drama and there's a couple with a class difference odds are I ship it.
I've been trying to make a video dedicated to my favourite pairs from this trope for ages, but I keep failing - even with Dora's help - so I figured I'd open a collab instead...
Rules;
Please only use pairs that fit the theme. Examples;
Sybil & Tom {Downton Abbey}, Drake & Morwenna {Poldark}, Will & Elizabeth {Pirates of the Caribbean}, Rose & Jack {Titanic}, Arthur & Gwen {Merlin}, Gendry & Arya {Game of Thrones}, Ally & Noah {The Notebook}
Please try to stick to period dramas, since this trope is still an issue in some cultures, but it's not such a ~thing~ as it used to be.
(However, pairs like Han/Leia or Anakin/Padme are definitely welcome).
If you're not sure if a pair fits, just ask!
One couple per part, but you can do multiple parts!
No colouring
Overlays are welcome, but please not too many!
Voiceovers to be sent in a separate mp3 file, please
Please extend your footage by a second or so at the end of your part.

Finally joining in with OCtober! I honestly wasnt sure Id be able to get this one done in time; hey Vidders Block, youre the worst and I hate you ;)
But its here. Its not the best, and its unforgivably short, but its here. Huge shoutouts to Julia and Elle for being so wonderful and supportive while I whined and stamped my feet. Youre both angels.
Anyway, today is day two of Elles (StarkQueen) amazing OCtober project - if you enjoy vidding Original Characters please check out her channel and the prompts for this month. Theres so many good ones!
Todays theme was fan favourites. A couple of weeks ago, I put up a poll to figure out who I should edit for this prompt.
The results were overwhelmingly (60% of the vote!) in favour of these two.
Based on this result, I wanted to give you all something a little bit different with them, even if it did turn into a big old mess. But the basic thing I was going for here was the dynamic of these two before Aetaris wedding, during the build up to her marriage and when they are finally reunited.
Disclaimer: I cant promise that these two are actually going to get that ending...but I was feeling sentimental.
For those unfamiliar with these characters and the story;
Aetari is the princess of a conquered kingdom (which I have still yet to name, because I cannot land on one that feels right) who is forced to marry Solemn, the King who has defeated her people. In marrying Solemn, Aetari finds herself torn between the love she has left behind in her childhood friend, Scoro, and the love she finds in her new family.
Things come to a head when Aetaris brother, Corvus, driven by jealousy, and newly King of her homeland, refuses to accept defeat.

Okay, this ones such a scruffy mess, but, honestly, after all the trouble Ive been having with my laptop, its a pure miracle its even finished. Besides, I couldnt possibly miss todays prompt for OCtober - star crossed (lovers, friends, etc) is my kryptonite. And its been so long since I made a video with these two.
If youre not familiar with these two, meet Finch and Amaryllis. Theyre the driving force of the events that take place in my Trees universe.
Finch (forgive the change of fancast, I needed more footage, and the voiceovers T T), Amaryllis and Hawthorn were childhood friends. When Hawthorn inherited his mothers throne, he betrayed the friendship, taking Amaryllis as his wife despite her love for Finch (and Finchs love for her).
Shortly after the wedding, Finch left, and for a few hundred years, Amaryllis did her best to be a decent wife to Hawthorn, even if she could never return his love, giving him two sons and ruling by his side as a fair and just queen.
When Finch returns, however, old feelings come rushing back to the surface and Amaryllis and Finch begin an affair.
When Hawthorn finds out, he realises that the best way to avoid embarrassment and scandal is to deal with the matter as quietly as possible; he sends his former best friend into a battle he can never win, ensuring his death. Amaryllis later dies giving birth to Finchs daughter.
This sorry chapter of the history of this universe leads to the wars that will eventually lead to Acacias death - which is why Ive included Kestrel at the end there; not just because I missed my favourite boy - which I did.
Anway, its a disaster, and largely incoherent and idk - its okay until around the minute mark and then ewww. I hate it, and itll probably be deleted once Octobers over...but eh. Its something. And Ive missed vidding these characters.
