Why is there so much evil and suffering in the world? If God foreknew how much evil His creatures would commit, then why did He create us in the first place? Why does the Bible say that humans were more like God, knowing good and evil after the Fall in Eden?
Would a loving God allow evil unless it played an essential role in His sovereign plan for us as individuals. In my video entitled ‘the necessity of evil’ I briefly discuss the classic answers to these questions and propose that evil and suffering play an essential role in God’s plan of salvation.
