A big investment day at Sheraton Park Farms! We start off in the garden with a fresh harvest of tomatoes, black-eyed peas, hoeing weeds around our beans, and doing a final check on the corn—all while hinting at a major farm upgrade arriving later in the day.
Next, Saundra steps into the kitchen to prepare a beautiful homemade tomato, basil, and mozzarella salad topped with olive oil and a sweet balsamic glaze.
Then it's time to clear out the walk-in freezer room! We haul out an old freezer and coolers to make space for a brand-new commercial refrigerator and a massive two-door commercial freezer. Having dedicated commercial cold storage allows us to hold hundreds of pounds of pasture-raised ground beef and inventory, keeping our farm products organized and easy to fulfill for our market customers.
Finally, Chuck sits down on the tailgate to share the full experience of making this purchase. While the refrigeration company provided phenomenal customer service, Chuck opens up about his recent frustrations dealing with two other equipment implement companies—one with an incompetent salesman and another that won't even return phone calls.
