It's obvious to most people that Keanu Reeves, Matt Damon, Christian Bale and a lot of other actors pretend to love everyone while promoting their latest Hollywood films. It also seems obvious that there's nothing to lose by being nice, and they're trying to promote the movie. But if you actually examine it, you'll find that famous people in just about every other field, from sports, to math, to table games, tend to actually treat fans and the media terribly, and it's only actors who pretend that everyone they meet is long-lost family. The reason for this, in my opinion, is pretty interesting, so let's talk about it today.
