I spent a week in Los Angeles sinking into in the soft pause inbetween travels, prioritising self care and connection which served as a reminder that I can find home in life’s fleeting chapters. These days were a chance to return to my rituals, to my solitude and introspection which felt so comforting after two rich months of travel in Mexico and Guatemala. I spent this week grounding back into myself — tending to my body, soothing my nervous system, and reweaving the routines that hold me. Though LA isn’t my home, the stillness I found here felt like a kind of homecoming. The moments passed quickly, but the presence, the love, and the connection still linger. I found this presence and love in the quiet of a morning meditation, home cooked meals, finding a spot in nature, letting my thoughts spill into my journal and spending quality time with friends.
