Step into a few wholesome days in my life filled with platonic love and intimacy. I share my reflections on the fear of being seen and how embracing vulnerability through honest self expression can open up pathways to being truly loved. These days in my life were spent in Oaxaca, Mexico in the company of two women who I have grown to love and cherish like my sisters. This is a story of coming together, a story of ease, a story of self love becoming shared love.
Developing new friendships in your twenties can be intimidating and difficult at times but there are people out there for all of us. Finding my people and cultivating a sense of sisterhood in my life has been so healing in so many ways. Before I discovered the term ‘highly sensitive person’, I wondered why I often felt different and misunderstood in social settings. Growing into my sensitivity and understanding myself more deeply has allowed me to express authentic self without fear, and the friendships I have developed as a result have been filled with love and softness. Something I once longed for so deeply. I hope you enjoy this video.
