Ahead of the Super Bowl coming to town we are looking at training of Santa Clara police officers and connection to WomenSV , a non profit funded by the city of Los Altos and county taxpayers where the founder, Ruth Patrick Darlene, claims to have trained police.
This is the second Super Bowl to come to the city. The first time the issue of secondary employment was an issue, and not it is police training where excessive force has become a national issue. It has always been a local issue and our reporting will shift from Los Gatos code enfrocement, Los Altos police chiefs and elected officials, to Santa Clara.
