This is the start of a mini-series of videos around the theme of ‘stuckness’. It’s pulling together some of the stuff we’ve been exploring over the past month or so.
It’s a chance to think about how the trait of high sensitivity affects our feelings of and responses to stuckness, especially in a world that offers us certain moulds for understanding and ‘solving’ these things, but which we don’t necessarily fit into.
Maybe you’ve tried everything to finally get started, make progress, or find a way forward with the project, direction, hobby, decision, or change you’re drawn towards. And yet nothing seems to stick. You keep ending up back where you started. At least, that’s how it feels.
In this first video of the three-part series, I explore some of the ways sensitive people can find themselves stuck around the things that matter to them, and what might become possible when we stop assuming the problem is simply that something is wrong with us.
I want to create the series in response to what’s coming up in our conversations, so I’d love to know anything that catches your attention in this first one, along with any comments or questions it prompts.
Is there something in your life that feels stuck at the moment, and what seems to be getting in the way?
