If you ask anyone "who comes out to people's broken down car?" most will say the AA or the RAC. However if you then ask them "Who recovers it, if it disabled in an accident?" most will say "The Police". Now ask them "Who recovers commercial vehicles?" and most will look at you blankly!
The truth is that the Majority of ALL recovery work is done by Independent Recovery Operators who in the main are family business. They are however highly trained and qualified, the industry is self regulated to a very high standard. Most importantly the people in it, have many years experience of thinking on their feet and achieving the imposable.
