I have been working with a team of people who after thirty odd years of trying, are finally getting government to listen to our plea. This is a video from a meeting we attended in Westminster to get support from a handful of cross party MP's who had time to come and hear the reasons we are asking. Sadly this took place in 2019 and despite all this support we are still waiting.

As can be seen below in the comments a few people are worried that users may abuse them for example they could forget to switch the light off when leaving the scene. As part of the proposal we believe all user by law will need to be to a standard such as PAS 43, or operate with ID Card. Training will have to be given as part of the nominal VR modules and all vehicles will have a movement detector to switch the lights off (which has already been developed).
