Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Thank you all for your nonstop support of my channel.
Realizing that we both have a knack for filming Burrtec trucks out in the Apple Valley area, Lucas and I decided it was time to take another trip out there this past Monday to get some footage of trucks we hadn't found yet. The truck in this video 2081, is believed to have originally started out in Salt Lake County of Utah back in the day and when it was done there, made it's way to Southern California where it was operated by Cal Disposal. After Burrtec bought out Cal a few years back, they acquired all of their equipment including this truck and the other full size 7000 that I uploaded a video of at the beginning of this year. A few of Cal's 7000s remained out in the San Bernardino area and the rest seemed to make their way out to the Victorville yard in the desert, where a couple seem to have been parted out and whatever was left being used as spare trucks for their routes. As luck was on our side that day, this truck was being used as a spare in Apple Valley so we followed it out of the yard and got a nice solid video of it on route.
Though I didn't realize it at the time I was filming, when I got home and watched all the footage this without a doubt became my favorite truck I have filmed (so far) this year. There's nothing like filming a truck whose driver revs hard and can put on a show - because you know every shot you get will be awesome. Huge thanks to the driver for making this video possible!
