Four White-winged Crossbills fed on remaining seeds in last year's White Spruce cones. We watched them pull off a cone, carry it in their bill, and hold it steady with their foot while they dug out the seeds with their crossed bill. Ashbridges Bay in Toronto on 20 November 2020.
