Description: This hardy American Pipit finds food amongst the ice-covered rocks on the north shore of Lake Ontario. Normally farther south during the winter, its already closer to its arctic tundra breeding grounds when the time comes for it to migrate north. Thickson Point in Whitby, Ontario on 6 March 2021.
