My first ever visit to Whitby Regatta and I was down in Whitby early, to catch the first regatta rowing events in Whitby Harbor. As well as all the regatta events going on in Whitby harbor, there was plenty for the kids to do, with rides and markets stalls, as well as classic cars and a fantastic show of classic motorbikes for the parents too. The Whitby sun brought out the crowds and the return of the Whitby Regatta Greasy Pole was a firm favorite drawing massive crowds. The Whitby Regatta runs for 3 days and finishes on Monday evening with a spectacular fireworks display, so, although this was my first Whitby Regatta, it will not be my last, I will be back next year, for more Whitby Regatta fun!
