My First Visit to the brand new Hickory's Smokehouse in Thornaby, just outside of Middlesbrough. Once inside, I was blown away with the food and the decor, so a real nice to discover the flavors & hospitality of the Southern States in the heart of Teesside. Hickory's Smokehouse made friends with pitmasters in Texas, ate pulled pork in South Carolina, ate baby back ribs in Memphis & burnt ends in Kansas City, will of which they have brought back to the UK. I was kindly given a tour at the end of my meal, where I saw all the meat being prepared and slow cooked. This is one place I will be coming back to again and again!
