Which Hermès scarf is Carrie wearing in the SATC episode, “All That Glitters”? In this edition of “As Seen In” Sunday, we’ll find out. This was very exciting because it’s our first Hermès pleated sighting! After my last video where I identified the scarf in “The Princess Diaries” (which took some time to track down), I was very relieved to recognize this one immediately. It is the Hermès scarf called “Smiles In The Third Millenary” by Sefedine Ibrahim Alamin (Kwumi). It was first issued in 2000. All of his designs are very recognizable by their vibrant washes of color and his inspiration is so moving. I’ve included a story about his background in this video.
