Which Hermès scarf is Grace Kelly wearing as a sling? As the story goes, a wasp stung Grace Kelly's arm and because of the pain, she needed a yacht worthy sling, hence the beautiful Hermès scarf we see here.
My first clue here was purely situational, I saw a royal crown and considering she is Royalty herself, wanted to explore the Monaco options. As you can imagine, they are quite limited. I also noticed the royal coat of arms and when that matched too, I knew I had found it. The scarf Grace Kelly is wearing is Hermès "Armes de Monaco" first issued in 1959 when these photos were taken. This scarf is by Hugo Grygkar, who is the first Hermès artist. He had part in designing "Jeu des Omnibus et Dames Blanches", the first Hermes scarf and also designed hundreds of others. Last week I ID'd all the scarves on Nicole Kidman in "Grace of Monaco", but when none overlapped to scarves in photos of Grace Kelly, I figured, we should give her the credit she deserves too.
