One question I've heard over and over throughout the years is this: "Can I use my eq pedal as a Top Boost or Treble Boost?" The answer is that it's possible, but it's not optimal. They are quite different in multiple ways. While the title is a bit tongue in cheek, as there *IS* no such thing as better since it's all subjective, I also add in a Tumnus pedal (A Klon (tm) type of circuit) for a bit of contrast, as those types of circuits work differently but also great as a boost as well.

I'm playing a Bravado amp through a Two Notes captor into a custom IR mix in logic pro x. I also use top boost interchangeably with Treble Booster which is not _exactly_ accurate but you're smart... you know what I'm sayin'. ;)
