Update 10/19: On October 19th, remains found in a rural field on September 30th were confirmed to be those of Xavior Harrelson. The manner and COD have yet to be released.
Heartbroken to hear this news. Although it was the most likely outcome after all this time, I was still hoping Xaviour would be found safe. May God rest his soul.

Update 9/9: there is currently a large law enforcement presence and search crews with dogs in Fox Forest, which is right outside of Montezuma, where Xavior lived.

On Thursday, May 27th, then 10-year-old Xavior Harrelson, reported as missing in Montezuma, Iowa. The report was made by a neighbor, who had received a worried call from Xavior’s mother, Sarah Harrelson. While family and neighbors claim to not have seen Xavior on the 27th, law enforcement confirm that he was in fact spotted that day, but have yet to release details. After a thorough search, investigators are now convinced that Xavior is not in the area.
Where is Xavior? Did a heated argument the night prior lead Xavior to walk away? Could he have been lured to go with someone?
