PLEASE READ to understand (lyrics below) - This song was requested years ago, but when it came time to do it, and I did the test for the song - YT blocked it. As happens sometimes, recently I found it has been unblocked (when I noticed another Poets of the Fall song I had done was also unblocked)! : ) I hope Dolly Mix is still here to (hopefully) enjoy her request! lol … vid story: The song is sad, about losing someone or giving up the relationship as a loss and going on from there - but as is often the case, I took those lines and brought a more positive meaning to them, ending it hopeful. ;-) - Also, please note, my list of songs to do for BatB are exhausted. In other words, I have run out. If you have ideas, please put them as new comments (not as replies to other comments, which I sometimes don’t see - more on that soon in a post I’ll put on my channel). So far, when requests come for BatB, it’s always been something already requested for PotO - (or is on my PotO wanna list) - so I do a blend if the requestor agrees (I contact them first to see). That is why you haven’t seen any vids that are exclusively BatB in awhile. I’m open to suggestions… as long as I like the song well enough to spend hours of hearing it while I edit. PotO and BatB (miniseries) have such strong similarities, which is why so many songs that work for BatB also work for PotO - and were already requested. To date, I have over 100 requests agreed to on my PotO list and over 100 on my own wanna list - strictly for PotO (this does not include the blends requested for PotO with another fandom)…Anyway, that said, chances are strong a song that fits BatB might have already been requested for PotO. Still, you never know… ;-) (please note: I usually don’t do anything by Disney, since I’ve had a lot of trouble with them blocking stuff in the past.) …. and now, back to our regularly scheduled video. (ha! lol) Story follows lyrics (told in all POVs) - symbolism abounds - here’s a little: the single colored lines show blockades (where they drew the line) - the last single line disappearing (the white one), showing the walls have come down between them - and the last part of vid showing those colored lines no longer separating them but now forming a box around them, enclosing them in their own world, yet not caging them as the lines disappear and new ones form- showing them as a couple, but not feeling trapped any longer (by each other or the situation) - and that “this” is now their line. : )
