For generations of New Bedford residents, the glowing neon Paul Revere sign along I-195 meant one thing: you were almost home. Then, one day, it disappeared. Ocean State Media’s Ben Berke traces the surprising history of the iconic Revere Copper sign from its roots in New Bedford’s industrial boom, to its decades lighting the skyline, to the warehouse north of Boston where parts of it still survive today.
