C Vision Productions | Where Did MRL's SD35 Fleet Go? Great Lakes Central! @CVisionProductions1 | Uploaded 3 years ago | Updated 1 hour ago
In this C. Vision YouTube exclusive, we visit Michigan's Great Lakes Central Railroad in search of their former Montana Rail Link SD35 locomotives. You'll see and hear these locomotives in the eighth notch racing across the mainline, as well as a little switching along the way. We also take a quick glimpse back in time to 2014, when the MRL 702 and MRL 705 were operating on MRL's Billings Transfer. These units are the last of their kind in mainline service, and we are grateful that GLC gave them another chance at life after being retired by MRL. Enjoy the uncommon sound of turbocharged 567-powered locomotives working hard on heavy trains across the Michigan countryside!

SD35 Roster information:
GLC 383 ex MRL 705
GLC 384 ex MRL 702
GLC 386 ex MRL 701

Footage captured May through July of 2021 and October of 2014.
