Abstract

This presentation provides an overview of recent developments, ongoing work and emerging directions at the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).

The talk introduces the IETF’s organizational structure—including its working groups, research activities under the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF), and architectural guidance from the Internet Architecture Board (IAB). It also covers key areas of active work across the IETF.

Yaroslav Rosomakho is Chief Scientist at Zscaler and a member of the Internet Architecture Board (IAB). He is an active contributor to the IETF, working on HTTP, MASQUE, TLS, and workload identity. His work focuses on advancing secure, scalable Internet architectures and bridging standards with real-world deployment.
