Actually this is test footage of working with AntonAntonov (Yuri) HTC/Vive Unreal Engine motion capture plug-in ($139 - unrealengine.com/marketplace/vive-mocap-kit ) that allows you to animate the UE mannequin (or your own custom skeleton) with your own or talent's movements.
One important key to using a tool that works within the real-time engine, is that you can use the assets in the scene/level as actual (VR) set pieces to act in. This give you a much better sense of the movement needed and more important, no need to adjust in post the animation file to fit the scene.
Look for details on Yuri's motion captures tool and several other this Friday on the "3D Tech Closet" at 2:00 pm PST. youtu.be/elF2yvOMLo8
