On Sunday, July 19, 2020, Chris Wallace interviewed President Donald Trump on Fox Sunday. Among other important points, the president pointed out the power the Supreme Court had inadvertantly granted to the office of the president, and how he plans to use that power.
Some day, the left is going to realize that their idiotic power plays cut both ways. Last time, it was in the Senate:
"In November 2013, Senate Democrats led by Harry Reid used the nuclear option to eliminate the 60-vote rule on executive branch nominations and federal judicial appointments, but not for the Supreme Court. In April 2017, Senate Republicans led by Mitch McConnell extended the nuclear option to Supreme Court nominations in order to end debate on the nomination of Neil Gorsuch."
This time, they've well and truly screwed themselves. But they may have inadvertantly saved America in the process.
