Today we're in a situation where most soldiers who go to the army at the age of 18 have never once in their lives visited Jerusalem. Amazing fact. Most Israeli soldiers have never been to Jerusalem in their lives. We want every school in the State of Israel to have an hour of Jewish education every day. In a wide variety of subjects, from Bible studies to history to geography... You're a Jew. You want to be a Jew. You want there to be a Jewish culture here that you can be proud of. You want all this. Come on, let's make it together.

The Second Lebanon War

For a month, we send a third of the state, the entire northern part of the country, into bomb shelters, and the IDF has no answer. And it has no answer, not because there aren't enough jets, not because they don't have enough plasma screens. It has no answer because it has no purpose. It has no goal to aim for. The politicians can't tell it what you want. "Conquer, don't conquer." "Go in, leave." "Because it isn't ours." Not only are they unable to tell them what the goal is, they can't even tell them how to fight. They force non-Jewish ethical codes of conduct on them, and then, when terrorists hide behind a mosque, they can't shell it. And inside the mosque, they'll have their Katushyot (rockets). Or they'll say it's too close to the civilian population, or something like that. That's not Judaism, and therefore, it can't win. And therefore, it can't survive. Because what's there is only the beginning, and everyone understands that. And all the solutions we're trying to find now, everyone feels in their gut that it isn't the answer. Because the problem isn't a material problem. It's a spiritual one. We don't have the spirit. We don't have the vision. And therefore, we'll continue to lose. And that's entirely natural. The enemy sees that we don't believe in ourselves, what we're doing here. There's no substance, no significance to our connection to the Land of Israel. And he's convinced.

Caption over the Arab kids marching: "With our blood and our lives we will sacrifice ourselves for Jerusalem"

This book, the Bible, the whole civilized world created their culture from it. The Christian world, the Muslim world, the whole monotheistic world. And we brought it into the world. By its merit we've returned to this land. We need leadership in this land which is truly able to relate to this land in terms of holiness. So that the leadership will be such that it is able to stand before the entire world and say, "Friends, you see this book? I believe in it. I also try to fulfill what is written in it. And according to this book, which you also believe in," the entire monotheistic world, Christians, Muslims, they all believe in it, "this land is ours." We will extend our sovereignty over it, we will make it thrive it, we will settle it, like we we did in the Golan Heights, like we did in Jerusalem, and then the world will respect us. Because we will respect ourselves. That's the sort of leadership that we are offering the people of Israel, without which, this country doesn't stand a chance.
